Designed in partnership with MICHELIN Technical Sole, Salewa's new concept for summer 2016, the Salewa Ultra Train focuses on outstanding traction and stability for a smooth workout and mountain experience, whether you're hiking fast, running long distances on technical trails or uphill intervals. The shoe runs on a MICHELIN outsole developed exclusively with Salewa: Its special outdoor rubber compound combined with an aggressive mountain bike inspired tread pattern provides reliable grip, while Motion Guidance technology supports natural foot movement on uneven ground. In addition, Salewas 3F Total System, in combination with the Adaptive Eyelets, supports the metatarsus by extending the normal 3F into the lacing for a precise fit.

Gore-Tex
In the technical apparel industry, Gore-Tex laminates are at the forefront when it comes to water impermeability, breathability and durability. The Gore-Tex membrane is absolutely waterproof and at the same time allows sweat to be transported outwards. It consists of pores that are 20,000 x smaller than a drop of water and at the same time 700 x larger than a water vapour molecule, therefore no water can penetrate from outside and the moisture from inside can reach outside.

3F Total System
The 3F Total System provides additional support for your foot by connecting the existing 3F System even more strongly to the lacing system, especially in the midfoot area. This guarantees optimum comfort and increased stability.

The sole and midsole have been developed together to support the natural movement of the foot and provide excellent traction on any surface.
