Arcus is the name of a cloud formation - and that's exactly how this shoe feels with its low weight and pronounced cushioning. The Arcus focuses on comfort and provides a pleasant running feeling with a pronounced damping and a lightweight EVA midsole; especially during long distances. To increase comfort, the Arcus is also equipped with a rocker midsole. This construction additionally supports the forward rolling behavior and thus reduces the pressure on the heel. The dual-density sole is firmer in the forefoot and thus provides more dynamics in the push-off phase. The Arcus GTX is waterproof and relies on the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane - a technology where the membrane is directly bonded to the upper. The unique, flexible construction reduces weight, causes fewer pressure points and makes the shoe particularly snug.
